Black Country Museum: Part 2

Hello my lovelies! 

As you can probably tell from the title, this post is the Part 2 of the pictures I took at Black Country Museum recently. I promised a part 2, so here it is!

The old fashioned cars look so classy and vintage, I loved them!


Unknown to us when we'd planned our day out here, when we got there we were told that there was a man running through for the Guinness World Records. It was in aid of a charity and we were all stood their cheering him on!






These next few pictures are from the school! They used pieces of slate and charcoal to write on.




Boys and Girls would sit on separate sides of the class!

I took this picture in the chemist/pharmacy. They also had a dentist in there who would of been for the whole village. Teeth were taken out with a pair of pliers.

From these two pictures you can really tell how vintage styled bedrooms and décor is coming back. Everyone loves the look, it's timeless. White bedsheets look clean and crisp and makes the room look fresh.



I couldn't take pictures in the mine unfortunately, but it was fantastic down there. We seen what life was like down a mine for children and adults and it was so surreal. If you ever go the Black Country Museum, I definitely recommend going in the mine! It's honestly fantastic and super interesting!


This was inside the cinema. The seats were rows of wood with no backs to them. We sat and watched a silent, black and white 10 minute film and I laughed through out it. It was great to experience. Cinema's today are so luxurious! 



I hope you enjoyed my second post from the Black Country Living Museum! I would definitely recommend going and looking around. It's so interesting to see what life was like only around 100 years ago. If you are into history, it's definitely a day trip you need to do!

End of 2019 Goals! So, I know it's probably a bit of an odd time to make this post but who cares I'm feeling motivated and inspired & I have a small list of things I want to accomplish before 2019 is out, albeit there's only 5 months left of this year! 1. Reading Challenge 2019 So it speaks for itself, I want to prioritise reading again. I love it but I never do it anymore and I have a pile of books I really want to read and indulge myself in. The challenge is to try and read 5 books before 2019 is over. Pamper Routine | Summer Edition 2019

Today's post is all about my current Pamper Routine Summer 2019 for relaxing and just taking abit of time out to look after myself and feel zen! It's so important to look after yourself and have some you time.  It's extremely underrated. First I like to have a glass or two of refreshing lemon water , I use lemon rather than pre brought, lemon water in a bottle. Lemon is good for your body, it hydrates you and flushes out toxins in your body. About twice a week I like to use a round body brush to dry brush all over. In circular motions working towards your heart is supposed to be the best to stimulate and encourage circulation and blood flow. It's also good for some exfoliation. Then I'll run a nice relaxing bubble bath with some sort of bath bomb or bubble bath, sometimes I'll use both. Hello my lovelies! Today's post is about my top 6 favourite beauty uses for Baby oil which you might never of heard of before, but trust me when I say that they are pretty genius. Using baby oil will save you money as well as being a complete game changer...Forget the expensive moisturisers and make up removers, baby oil is the way forward my friends! 1) Shaving, use baby oil and apply a thin layer to your skin and leave it for a couple of minutes before you shave. The baby oil softens the hairs and makes it easier to shave and it's much more gentle than using a shower gel or a shaving foam.
