Black Country Museum: Part 1!
Hello lovelies! I hope you've all had a lovely day, whatever you're doing :)I recently went to the Black Country Living Museum in Dudley and thought I'd share some pictures I took there! I find this stuff really interesting, and if you're anything like me then you love learning about our history.Enjoy these pictures and I will do a Part 2 really soon! Lots of love :)
The selection behind the bar wouldn't of been like it is today. It was very limited, and pretty much just your basic ale, maybe lemonade and not much food either.
Not the best picture, but this is an old typewriter which was in the Workers Institute |
This was a picture of the Royal Family in the late 1800s to 1900s |
These pictures I took inside the Workers Institute. Inside there was a cafe which would've originally been where the workers ate their very little amount of food.
There was a room full of posters on newspaper articles on the Suffragettes and the Women Chain makers back in the 1900s. I didn't read all of it, but some of it was really interesting to me.
As you can also see there was a huge history timeline in there too.
