January Goals 2019

Hi guys!

I know i'm over a week late in posting my January goals, despite saying I would post them in my New Years Resolution post, but my goals still stand!

I've been busy revising and cramming for an exam at uni that I had to sit yesterday so I've just been concentrating on that for the last week or so, which is why I haven't posted. However, now my exam is out of the way I have more time to focus on my blog and working on and producing some better content for my page.

So briefly my goals for this month are as goes;

1) Start revising for my theory.

I'm going to download the apps on my phone so I can practice all the time and practice whenever I can. I'm going to try and book my theory at the end of Jan if I feel I'm ready, but if not my goal is just to start revising anyway. So booking it will be a bonus really!

2) Start driving lessonswhich I know I probably won't book until the end of the month so hopefully I will get one in before the month of Feb. If I manage to get one in I will be so happy.

3) Start exercising more!

So, I didn't last week but this week I compiled my own small workouts for abs, for legs/booty and also for arms so once I've tried them out a couple more times I'll be sure to write them up and share them on here soon, which I'm aiming to do for the end of next week. Also, I'm going to start walking more and trying to build it up to jogs and start running but that's for the bigger picture really rather than a smaller monthly goal.

4) Start eating better!

As I listed on my New Years Resolution posts, I do want to start eating better. It's the age old new years resolution isn't it but never mind, ha! Now, I'm not planning on turning veggie, or vegan or going on a mad health kick but I have been implementing more healthy foods into my everyday diet.
For example;
In the mornings I've been eating yogurt, or fruit or just some toast. Then at lunch one meal I've been having are chicken wraps with some veggies, which are my fave lunches anyway tbh, bloody love chicken wraps! And then for dinner I've been having more veg and for snacks I've been snacking on fruit, some cucumber or peppers, yogurts and that sort of thing which are a sight healthier than a chocolate bar or a packet of crisps.

So like I said, no mad health kick, no mad strict meal plan or diet but just some more fruit, veggies and healthier food choices.

5) Drink more water!

It is what it says on the tin! Drink more water, haa!

6) Work harder at Uni & Keep Up with the Work

Now I know any fellow students reading this will completely understand. Even though I only have a couple lectures a day and a few seminars a week, the work load gets on top of you and you lose the flow. I'm a law student so just small things like making revision sheets or cards, listing case law or statutes at the end of each week and doing extra reading is an absolute mission! Doesn't sound a lot to most, which really if I cracked on with it, it wouldn't, but once you slack of for a week, it all starts to pile up and by the time you know it you've got a whole pile and list of work to catch up on.

So ultimately, my goals for Jan is to type up all my notes at the end of each day, get any reading done on the day and things like listing case law and statutes and making revision sheets/cards at the end of the week, probably on a Friday as I have those off, and keep on top of it all!

So guys, that's the round up of my goals for January. Now I break them down into weekly goals to make them more achievable and incorporate what I want to achieve into my everyday life to make it easier and more doable. I can share if you'd want to see, maybe I could share my weekly goals and plan just to give an example of what I mean.

My aim is to post a round up at the end of Jan, or beginning of Feb to give you an overview on how keeping up with and accomplishing my goals for January went. Posting a round up is also a way I can look back over the year at the end of 2019 to see what I managed to achieve and accomplish in a year to see if I've upheld and worked towards my New Years Resolutions in 2019.
