My New Years Resolutions | 2019
New Years Resolutions|2019
Hi my lovelies!
Just a little post to share with you and to keep track of my personal goals for 2019! It's just my way of recording my goals and keeping note of my achievements and aims for this year that I can monitor and actually feeling motivated all through the year to achieve what I wanted to achieve in 2019!
Just a little post to share with you and to keep track of my personal goals for 2019! It's just my way of recording my goals and keeping note of my achievements and aims for this year that I can monitor and actually feeling motivated all through the year to achieve what I wanted to achieve in 2019!
Start scrap-booking and print off more pictures:
- Too many pictures in this day and age get lost on phones. It's time to start printing them and doing things with them consistently. Don't get me wrong I do print some off every known and again when I think about it, but there are so many lovely pictures on my phone that go onto social media and just stay there. I think I'm going to invest in a handheld Bluetooth printer like the HP Sprockets or the new Polaroid Zip Instant Mobile Printer.
Pass my driving test:
- Now, I kind of don't care if it takes me all year but I really need to get my butt into gear and pass my test. My goal for Jan/Feb is to actually pass my theory test first, which annoyingly, although having soo many driving lessons, I've never done before. I'm planning to do monthly goal blog posts on here at the start of every month and monthly goal updates at the end, so hopefully by the end of February, if not January I will be writing to tell you all that I've passed my theory test!!
Be healthier & a lot more active:
- Now I'm not aiming to be an Olympic athlete by the end of the year, nor do I aim to lose a shed load of weight or change my body's shape or size radically. However, I do want to be more active and healthier and just feel better and more confident within myself. I'm planning on doing at home workouts a few times a week, maybe start running as I've always been intrigued and wanted to be able to run for a lengthy period of time with ease rather than out of breathe in 2 minutes and just eating better.
Joining the gym is something I want to do, however, I think I need a gym buddy before I do that first as I don't think I have the confidence to do that on my own yet. Like I said, I don't want to make drastic changes to my weight, losing some would be nice but not a lot. So going to the gym for me is more about just feeling better in my own skin, making a hobby out of it and pushing myself to make that first step of going to the gym, albeit I do a 1hr workout or a 2 minute jog on the treadmill.
Eating and diet side of things is something I really want to change. I need to stop eating or reduce the amount of chocolate I eat, as it really is my downfall. Eating fruit isn't an issue for me, I love fruit. But when it comes to veg is where my issues come from. Plan is to try more veggies and try incorporate them in all meals, except for probably breakfast.
Another big health goal for me in 2019 is to drink a lot more water. I'm going to be doing a 30 day water challenge in January to kick the year off that I will also be blogging about in my January Goals to start it off and will make sure to write about and review in depth to let you know how I got on in Jan, most likely at the end of the month.
Overall, I just want to eat healthier, drink more water, be a hell of a lot more active and just generally feel better about myself.
Blog consistently & Improve my Blog
- So I was away from blogging for 3 years and I'm finally back. I enjoyed it a lot, but back then I didn't have a lot to blog about as I was about 15/16. However, now I'm older, been to college and sat my a-levels, currently in first year of living away from home at university studying Law & Criminal Justice and I have more to talk about and generally I just have more things going on than I did 3 years ago.
I really want to be consistent in uploading blog posts that are current and relative but also about my life as an anonymous blogger and grow and improve this blog as already I've fell back in love with doing.
Visit somewhere new!
- I've always this longing in me to travel everywhere on the planet possible! However, this moment in my life, packing up and going travelling isn't exactly an option. Soo, I'm making it a goal this year to visit at least one place I've never been before whether that's abroad or just in the UK.
- Great Yarmouth
- Skegness
- Blackpool
- Weston-super mare
- London
- Liverpool
- Birmingham
- Bourton-on-the-Water
But even those places I want to visit again and explore further, so visiting at least 1 new destination next year is deffo one of my 2019 goals.
So far, my 'Places I've been to' list isn't very long;
- Tenerife- Great Yarmouth
- Skegness
- Blackpool
- Weston-super mare
- London
- Liverpool
- Birmingham
- Bourton-on-the-Water
But even those places I want to visit again and explore further, so visiting at least 1 new destination next year is deffo one of my 2019 goals.
- I bloody love reading a good book, but I just don't get to read as much anymore. So next year I would love to be able to read at least 1 book each month but I think that's slightly ambitious considering I have to do a fair bit of reading for Law, but I'm going to try my best to read 1 each month. However, overall my aim for 2019 is to read 8 books!
Fill an empty jar with good things that happen starting from January til the end of December
- Then open it on New Years Eve next year and reflect on the year gone by.Being more organised
- I'm going to be a lot more organised!
- Using a diary, to do lists, shopping lists, budgeting, keeping my uni work organised, organising my time wisely... The works!
Small ones:
- Spend more time offline than online!
- Think positively
- Say yes to more opportunities
- Change up my personal style & make more effort (really lost this in 2018, oops!)
- MORE ME TIME!
Right, that's a wrap 2018! Hope you all have an amazing New Years Eve and see 2019 in the right way, surrounded by friends and family, full of love, laughter and delicious food (and maybe lots of alcohol too)!
HAPPY FRIGGING NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL! Have a fab night and stay safe!
Lots of Love,
xoxo
